Providing entrepreneurs and business owners with the legal solutions they need to protect and grow their businesses
I am a strong advocate for entrepreneurship and empowering individuals to work for themselves. As such, I've made it my business to help others succeed in theirs.
I grew up in Madison, Wisconsin and attended UW-Madison where I earned Bachelor's Degrees in political science and legal studies. Afterwards, I came to Chicago to attend law school at Loyola University Chicago where I focused on business law. I enrolled in Loyola's dual Law/MBA program, earned my Transactional Law Certificate, and worked in Loyola's Business Law Clinic helping startups and nonprofits. I also tutored the Loyola's Advanced Contract Drafting and Negotiation Course, and served as the Director of Corporate Programming for the Business Law Society.
In addition to what I've learned in the classroom, I've developed a wide array of business law experience from my professional experience as well. I've worked for a law firm focusing on commercial and real estate litigation. I've also worked in the legal department of multibillion dollar companies including financial institutions and energy companies. I have also worked with startups and small businesses helping them incorporate, set up company bank accounts, FEINs, and drafted governing business documents, and contracts for a variety of matters from investments, to employment and service agreements. Currently I work full time negotiating and drafting R&D contracts on behalf of one of the world's largest pharmaceutical companies.
I provide business owners and aspiring entrepreurs with the services they need to form and grow their companies.
